1. Age & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our application.
• By using StayLocal, you confirm that you meet the age requirements.

2. Account Security

• Users are responsible for all activities under their accounts.
• Do not share your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or security breaches.

3. Booking Policy

• Once a booking is confirmed through StayLocal, it is binding.
• Cancellations must be made under any applicable host or event rules.

4. Payments & Charges

• All payments must be processed through the app's secured gateway.
• StayLocal is not liable for disputes between users and hosts regarding service quality.
• Final charges appear at the point of booking.

5. Host Responsibilities (Stay/Service Owners)

• Provide honest & complete information.
• Promptly honor all booking information and stays.
• Failure of services received through StayLocal.
• No impact on the owners and facilities based on pre-confirmed check-out processes.

6. Guest Responsibilities

• All guests are expected to:
• Abide by the rules and policies of the booking property.
• Maintain courteous conduct.
• Hosts reserve the right to refuse a booking if this code is not followed (subject to the property's rules and laws).

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• 70% refund is allowed if a booking is cancelled at least 48 hours prior.
• No refund for last-minute (under 48 hours) cancellations.
• Service charges are non-refundable and deducted from the total booking amount per platform usage.

8. Content & Conduct

• Users must not:
• Upload misleading or fraudulent information.
• Misuse or exploit application features.
• Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, including logos, user interface designs, code, and related materials, is owned by StayLocal.
• You may not use, copy, distribute, or modify without prior permission.

10. Data Usage

• Personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy: https://staylocal.com/privacypolicy
• Key identifiers, terms, personal information, and user management termination.
• May include contact details, GPS location, transaction records, and booking history.
• Information may be used for analytics, marketing, and user behavior insights.

11. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
• Violate the Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent or criminal activities.

12. Legal Liability

• StayLocal is not responsible for:
• Miscommunication between hosts and users.
• Damages or injuries resulting during bookings.
• StayLocal is properly deeply protected by law (Refer to applicable technology platform policies on user or recognized law).

13. Governing Law

• These Terms will be governed by the laws of England.
• Any disputes will be resolved in courts of England.

14. Changes to Terms

• StayLocal may update these Terms at any time.
• Any updates will be communicated through the application or via email.
• Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated terms.
